At home/office

In general, any broadband plan is sufficient.
If you have ADSL, you need to upgrade to broadband.

Using public WiFi

Public WiFi networks may at times be unreliable. If you're dialing into your class from a public WiFi network, be sure to check your connection and speed well in advance (an hour or two) before your scheduled class time.

Speed tester

You can test the speed of your Internet through this free tester: http://www.speedtest.net/

For best experience, your results should be:

  1. Ping : LESS THAN 15ms. The smaller the number, the better.
  2. Download : MORE THAN 30 Mbps. The larger the number, the better.
  3. Upload : MORE THAN 30 Mbps. The larger the number, the better.
